I've been under pressure to get things finished for other classes (including a quilt I will upload once I get a picture of it), and I think it shows in this painting.
The fact that it actually looks like a wet ground is so awesome. I don't know of many artists who can pull that off. The whole blurry feel to it just goes so perfectly. I have major jealousy of your painting skills.
I'm trying to think of something to criticize, but nothing is coming. You did such a fabulous job.
yeah this is wonderful. you've really got the right level of reflection in the water that you get after rain. there's a fantastic atmosphere, sorta still, allmost lifeless or slow. i think the fuzziness adds to that. what's this painted with? nice work.

Sometimes you look at a painting and it brings back memories so strong you think you've been there before. This painting is like that for me. It brings to mind a rainy afternoon that I toured a campus in South Carolina with my daughter. She was thinking of going there. It looked very much like this. The gloomy sky. The reflections in the puddles on the sidewalk.

A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
