It is amazing to me how often people are able to fly or float off in their dreams. What is it that creates the desire to do so? It has always been one of the reoccurring elements in my dreams.

wow.

I really love the soft and surreal feel of this... the over-accentuated curve of the planet, and the fact that outside the yard is nothing... well, more specifically, everything, just form a high, high distance. normally such a soft palette might bother me, but in this case, the lack of darker colors and tones really, really helps put forward a feeling of dreamy innocence.

you should definitely, definitely make this a print.

I think I might try another dream-type image sometime soon, one that doesn't have such soft colors. It works for this piece for me, but not all my dreams are so pretty, you know? ;)

And I'm just waiting for DA to approve my print of this!
