Sometimes it gets hard for me to focus on why I'm at the store.

I really like this one - I'm not sure why. It's not for any of the technical aspects, as far as I can tell. It's just... interesting, you know? Great work, as always.

The waitress is practicing politics as the businessmen slowly get stoned... they're sharing a drink they call loneliness, but it's better than drinking alone.

So cool! I love the angle and the reflection... looks fantastico!

Amazing really - it looks really candid and spur of the moment, which belies the fact of how long this must have taken ^_^

There's also a nice smetry between the older larger man reaching for icecream or some such frozen delight and the younger thinner one choosing what to pick - I'm sure there's a life metaphor in that somewhere :P

But anyhow - congrats - you've taken something mundane and everyday and you've made it vibrant and interesting to look at - great job :)

I try to leave my paintings open for deeper interpretations, rather than dictate what I want it to be about. I love it when the viewer shows me something different about the work. Keeping the possibilities open keeps it alive, imo.
Thanks for the comment and fav :)

but im gonna try to start looking for that kind of stuff
bravo to him/her, very insightfull
but personally, i just LOVE this
the detail is IMPECABLE and the angle and scene you decided to create seems like it would be SOOOO hard
yet, you managed to make it INCREDIBLY realistic
awsome awsome job, most definitly a favorite

keep up the fantasticly wonderful work!

Thanks!

Though I encourage viewers to find their own meanings in my painting, I also don't have a problem with them being appreciated on purely asthetic values :)

Lately I've been trying to get my paintings to look like they've got a lot of detail without tediously painting in detail. I'm glad it works for you :)
